Having your employees learn something or demonstrate skill through hands-on instruction and evaluation is one of the best ways to ensure proper procedures are understood and followed. Most adults learn best by 'doing,' not just hearing or seeing. It helps reinforce the message through demonstration. It also immediately shows whether or not someone is understanding the process.
